Made from 100% Merlot, the 2012 47-Ten Rosé spent just four hours on its skins to achieve this beautiful rosy color. Created in a traditional dry style, this food-friendly wine bursts with blood orange, strawberry and banana on the nose, accompanied by hints of rose water and cherry. Strawberries & cream, key lime, hints of pink grapefruit and bright, full acidity all lead to a crisp, refreshing finish that pairs perfectly with a warm, sunny day and a comfortable chair!

Our winemaker’s blend of 35% Cabernet Sauvignon, 33% Merlot, 23% Petit Verdot, 6% Chardonnay and 3% Syrah, 47-Ten Red is named for the elevation of our vineyard (4,710 feet). A medium-bodied, approachable wine with good texture and subtle tannins, 47-Ten Red has aromas of cherry, clove, blackberry jam and cola, with subtle pear undertones from the Chardonnay. The palate provides a hint of each of the varietals with clove, cherry, tobacco, red fruit and a touch of vanilla and baking spices on the soft finish.
